Cassidy Davis, an actor and producer based in LA, started her Chaotic Singles Party business accidentally. She was “tragically” (her words, not ours) single for five years when, for Valentine’s Day 2022, Cassidy asked her single friends to invite someone they matched with on a dating app to her house for a giant meet-cute. And they did! About 65 singles attended and Cassidy even recorded confession-style interviews for TikTok. Millions of views and several news headlines later, singles across the US were asking Cassidy to host these parties in their own cities. With no previous event experience, Cassidy went through trial by fire, learning to work with venues, helping the singles mingle without getting in the way and creating a safe space for dating.
Projects
The Chaotic Singles Parties are exactly what they sound like — epic gatherings for singles to mingle. Cassidy Davis hosts these parties monthly in Los Angeles and about 200-300 people come out to the bar to find love. Guests play games, dance, party and get to know each other. During the summer of 2023, the brand joined forces with Tinder to take Cassidy’s party on the road in honor of “uncuffing” season, hosting parties in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago and allowing attendees to win gifts like a free year of Tinder Platinum. Next up for the modern matchmaker? Pitching Chaotic Singles Party as a new unscripted dating show.
